Lorena Gómez is originally from Colombia and discovered the Writings of the Divine Will in 1995 at the age of 19, while finishing her Psychology studies at the University of Saint Thomas Aquinas. Her spiritual experience led her to enter contemplative life at the Monastery of the Visitation, where she lived for two years. She later continued her path of consecration for twelve years in a community dedicated to the Divine Will, where she deepened her understanding of the writings given to Luisa Piccarreta.

In the apostolic field, she has served as a catechist and formator at both the parish and community levels. She actively participated in evangelization through media, collaborating for several years on radio programs broadcast by Radio Paz Miami, Radio María Miami, and Radio Santa Teresita.

She is the author of the books History of the Church – First Century and How to Learn to Live Suffering, and she holds a master’s degree in Art Management.

For the past eight years, she has been married to Felipe Gómez. United by the desire to spread the Gift of Living in the Divine Will, they founded in the United States the non-profit organization Hijos de la Luz Inc., dedicated to evangelization through in-person retreats and digital content, especially through their YouTube channel.
